Ending violence against women


Democratic Republic of Congo have since 2006 a new law on sexual violence, the age of majority is now 18 years, the majority were previously at 16 years of age. Marriage at the age under 18 is considered an offense. Mrs. Bernadette Kapend from the network KATANGA Women and Development, talks about the impact of the law in different populations and the changes observed in the behavior.
