Kathmandu. September 6, 2013. The South Asian Community Radio conference on 'Enhancing the Role of Community Radio and Promoting Positive Social Change' was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister of Information and Communication of the Government of Nepal Mr. Madhav Prasad Paudel. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Paudel urged the gathering to focus on learning from each other's good practices in the South Asian region and focus on pursuing joint development targets at a regional level, including cross-country and cross-border issues.

The conclusion of today’s activities commemorated the 30th anniversary of the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC).
Tunisia, August 13th, 2013. The World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC), salutes Radio Femme, launched this August 13 in the 102.3 FM frequency in Tunisia. It is for the National Tunisian Women's Day that the Association Women in Media announced the beginning of the first Tunisian radio exclusively dedicated to Women.
